💎 Cleaning the Diamonds — and Spotting Something Unusual

Before starting any redesign, I always clean and inspect the diamonds carefully. Among Heather’s stones was one larger diamond that stood out immediately. Its warm, golden tone was unusual and captivating.

Because of its colour, I recommended sending it to the laboratory for a professional assessment. This is a standard step when a diamond shows potential to be something special.

A few days later, the laboratory contacted me. They suggested performing a more intensive test because the diamond displayed characteristics of a fancy-coloured stone. After the advanced testing, the results came back:
